Kids can cook for Thanksgiving in Schaumburg

Schaumburg Park District will offer two cooking classes for kids to make Thanksgiving even tastier.

Thanksgiving Goodies will teach children ages 4-5 and their parents how to make candy turkeys, chocolate cornucopias and more from 4-5:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14. Children ages 6-12 will make treats from 6-7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18.

Classes will be held at Bock Neighborhood Center, 1223 W. Sharon Lane. All food and supplies are included in these hands-on, fun-filled classes. Participants should bring a container to carry treats home.

Cost per class is $28 for residents and $42 for nonresidents.
