KN Karen Neuburger hosts PJs and Paws Nov. 16 at Yorktown Center
With a bit of help from KN Karen Neuburger this November, every dog will really have its day. Launching the “PJs and Paws” campaign as a kick-off to the holiday season, the nationally recognized lifestyle brand will be hosting a holiday dog walk spotlighting the furriest of all family members, of course.
On Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 8 to 10 a.m., pooches and their pals are invited out to Yorktown Center, 233 York Township in Lombard, for a day full of walking and playing, canine contests and tail-wagging treats. In order to lend a helping paw to the underdogs, all proceeds from the events will benefit the Animal Rescue Team of The Humane Society of the United States!
On the 16th, participants can meet up at the interior entrance of Carson's, where dogs can enter the scene by stepping onto the red carpet to be photographed by the pupperazzi! Each dog will be given a number for the day and will immediately be entered into a Cutest Dog Contest. Then, guests will set off to embark on their walk around the mall, stopping off at different playing and pampering stations for pups! At the end of their stroll, all pets and owners will finish outside of Carson's for a bit of relaxing and rejuvenating with some delicious refreshments. The Cutest Dog Contest winner will be chosen by local celeb judges at 9:45 a.m. and will win a special Q & A feature on Tails Magazine's Web Site, KN Karen Neuburger PJs for the whole family, and a relaxing one-night stay at a dog-friendly resort in Chicago! But no worries, all contestants will be sent home with a prize from KN Karen Neuburger – a doggie bag filled with goodies!
To celebrate the special bond between owner and pet, KN Karen Neuburger prefers that all guests (human and four-legged) sport similar styles for the events – in specialty KN attire of course! The inspiration behind the campaign is the release of a KN Karen Neuburger line of micro fleece dog jackets ($20) to complement the popular KN pajamas ($66). The $25 entry fee for the event will be waived for those pawfect pairs that don KN Karen Neuburger, so remember that Fido's fashion is an integral part of the festivities! Pajama sets and dog jackets can be purchased at Carson's in the days leading up to the event (or onsite before the walk).
