Sale at Woodstock’s Knuth’s to benefit environmental group

Submitted by Environmental Defenders of McHenry County

A new experience for the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County. They’ve been hired to run the liquidation sale at Knuth’s Office & Sports Supply, 110 S. Johnson St., lower level, in Woodstock. Not only is this a fundraiser for the group, but they will also be able to keep almost everything from ending up in the landfill. Whatever doesn’t sell will be donated to other charities or recycled.

The sale will continue through Friday, Nov. 4, closed Sunday. All new inventory is 75 percent off starting today, Oct. 31; and 90 percent off on the final day, including office supplies, art supplies, spirit wear, educational supplies. Make an offer on all fixtures, including counters, shelving units, display racks, file cabinets, holiday decorations and more; everything must go.

The sale runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday until 8 p.m., and closed Sunday.

The Environmental Defenders of McHenry County is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the environment.
