Conant stages 'Night of the Living Dead' zombie classic

Conant High School's fall play is “Night of the Living Dead,” based on the cult classic horror film, with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21-22 in the school's auditorium, 700 E. Cougar Trail in Hoffman Estates.

Imagine that a satellite probe shot to Venus returns to Earth carrying a mysterious radiation that transforms the unburied dead into flesh-eating zombies. Seven people trapped in an isolated farmhouse are held hostage by the ravenous ghouls. You'll have see the show to see what happens next.

Tickets are on sale now at the school, $7 general admission and $6 for students and senior citizens.
