Dogs can get in spirit at Howl-O-Ween in Schaumburg

Get your pup in the Halloween spirit.

Celebrate Howl-O-Ween with your dog from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way.

Dogs should come dressed to impress in their Halloween attire and be ready to be judged for the most unique costume. Dog-friendly activities include a dog agility course, tricks competition, a pooch parade and an area for free play. Pet adoption places will be on-site. The first 50 dogs will receive a special Halloween treat.

All dogs must have current shots. Records must be attached to the registration form or brought to Meineke Recreation Center.

The fee for residents is $2 per person and $5 per dog. The fee for nonresidents is $3 per person and $7 per dog.
