Tickets to 'Nutcracker' aid needy animals

Helping sick and injured homeless animals this holiday season is as easy as buying a ticket to the ballet.

The Moscow Ballet has partnered with the Trio Animal Foundation to raise desperately needed funds to help pay for the medical care of sick and injured homeless pets.

This partnership has the potential to help countless needy animals and make them more likely to find a new home. By using the code "TRIO" when purchasing tickets for the Rosemont performance on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2011, $5 from each ticket sold will directly benefit TAF programs.

The Moscow Ballet production of “The Great Russian Nutcracker” is a lavish holiday tradition that is beloved by all ages. The performance features award-winning principals Karyna Shatkovskaya and Vladimir Tkachenko along with 40 young dancers from Chicago's Southport Performing Arts Conservatory (SPACE).

To purchase tickets, simultaneously making a positive difference in the lives of needy animals, contact Moscow Ballet at (800) 320-1733, ext. 15 or andy@nutcracker.com, or contact Rosemont Theatre directly at (847) 671-5100.
