Our Lady of the Wayside hosts book author discussion

At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, Our Lady of the Wayside School presents award-winning Philadelphia journalist and author Susan FitzGerald who will speak about her new book titled "Letting Go with Love and Confidence: Raising Responsible, Resilient, Self-Sufficient Teens in the 21st Century (Avery, 2011)."

The event will be held in the gymnasium at Our Lady of the Wayside School, located at the northeast corner of Park Street and Ridge Avenue in Arlington Heights. Please enter through the doors facing Ridge Avenue.

The event is free and open to the community.

Co-authored with renowned adolescent medicine specialist Kenneth Ginsburg, M.D., the book offers parents a practical, thoughtful, modern strategy for guiding children through all the turning points of adolescence and young adulthood.
