Special Olympics car wash fundraiser Saturday
Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54 Special Olympics is holding its annual car wash fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at Nathan Hale Elementary School, 1300 W. Wise Road in Schaumburg.
Donations received will be used for programming for the 2011-12 school year. Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children with disabilities.
