Dine with your dog at Algonquin restaurant for fundraiser

Assisi Animal Foundation has announced upcoming events this fall.

Ÿ “Doggy Dine” will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20 at Port Edwards in Algonquin. Dogs can join their owners out on the patio and enjoy a special doggy menu as well as support Assisi Animal Foundation. For more information, call (815) 455-9411.

Ÿ The Assisi Animal Foundation’s 25th annual animal blessing will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake. All animals are welcome. For more information, call (815) 455-9411.

Ÿ The second annual Responsible Pet Ownership Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Nature’s Feed, 2440 Westward Drive, Spring Grove. The event is sponsored by Fur the Love of Dogs, Nature’s Feed and Unleashed. Assisi Animal Foundation will have a variety of adoptable pets ready to find their forever homes. The event also will include a silent auction presenting original artwork from Pup & Cat Cassio by Assisi’s own animal celebrities. For more information, call (815) 455-9411.
