Try out a new fitness style for free this summer.

Schaumburg Park District will host a CorePole Open House at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way.

CorePole is a cardio and strength conditioning system that can accommodate many users of all fitness levels. CorePole delivers strength, cardio, flexibility and stability through a variety of exercises in one workout.

The district offers CorePole classes every season, with dates and times listed in the park district's quarterly program guide.
