Utility bill checkup event in Schaumburg

The Village of Schaumburg has partnered with the Citizens Utility Board to offer a free analysis of utility bills to demonstrate ways to reduce home utility costs. Bring the latest copies of your gas, electric, and telephone bills at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, to the Rasmussen South room at the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg’s Town Square. Representatives from the Citizens Utility Board will sit down to provide one-on-one help in going through the bills and understanding any charges that may seem confusing. The service is free.
