Two senior events at Schaumburg Barn
The Schaumburg Barn will host two special events for seniors in coming weeks.
The Glide and Slide Senior Dance and Ice Cream Social will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. July 28 at The Barn, 231 S. Civic Drive in Schaumburg. Participants must sign up by July 15 by calling (847) 524-7496.
A Seniors/Teens Wii Bowling Tournament and Ice Cream Social will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 17. Participants should register by Aug. 5. Both events are free.
The Barn serves as a second home for many of the area’s seniors and disabled friends. Programs provide food, fun and fellowship as well as an opportunity for seniors to help their fellow seniors and community. Residents of Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg Township are welcome.
