WWSHS Tiger Marching Band holds car wash July 23

The Wheaton Warrenville South High School Tiger Marching Band is holding a car wash fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, 520 E. Roosevelt Road in Wheaton.

Donations received at the car wash help support Tiger Marching Band activities. This busy, award-winning band marches in the Wheaton Memorial Day parade, as well as in the Fourth of July parades in both Wheaton and Warrenville.

Each fall, the band plays during half-time shows at the high school's football games and participates in a number of annual, state-wide band competitions. This fall, the band has the honor of marching at Walt Disney World during the school's Thanksgiving break.
