Schaumburg Hop and Vine Fest a success, organizers say

More than 750 people turned out Saturday for the Schaumburg Park Foundation’s Solstice Hop and Vine Fest, a beer and wine tasting event to benefit renovations to the nature museum at Spring Valley.

“The fest was a giant success for the nature museum campaign,” said Park Foundation Executive Vice President Pat Casler.

A second event, the Park Foundation’s Links Technology Cup, is set for Aug. 10 at the Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 N. Roselle Road. For more information, call (847) 985-2115 or visit parkfun.com.
