Computer and Internetworking Technologies Program Expands to Naperville, West Chicago Centers; Information Sessions June 2 and 16

The Computer and Internetworking Technologies program at College of DuPage is expanding its offerings to the Naperville and West Chicago regional centers this fall, and information sessions will be held at each location in June.

The sessions will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, at the Naperville Regional Center, 1223 Rickert Drive, and at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, at the West Chicago Regional Center, 950 E. Roosevelt Road.

Each center features new labs with equipment that will enable students to study networking without coming to the Glen Ellyn campus. Starting in fall, coursework to earn the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certificate will be offered in each location as well as A+ Certification coursework.

“We are so excited to expand our program to Naperville and West Chicago,” said Joanne Wagner, CIT professor and program coordinator. “We have potential students who want these classes but cannot make it to Glen Ellyn. This will give them the opportunity to gain new skills or expand them at a location closer to where they work and live.”

In addition to the new locations, the CIT program will continue offering its A+ Certification courses at the Addison Regional Center, 301 S. Swift Road.
