D300 wastes time, money on new logo

I find it incredible and unconscionable that budget-stressed District 300 would waste time and money on changing the district logo. Such a decision contributes nothing to the education of students and would appear to require the district to spend more money on changing the photo-ready art for their stationery and vehicles. I do not vote to increase District 300’s tax rate to have them squander money on nonessential cosmetic changes.

It looks like the school board would rather follow the example of former Gov. Blagojevich, emphasizing appearances rather than responsible educational leadership.
