Panel of entrepreneurs to speak at St. Viator
Kevin Willer, former head of Google’s Chicago office, is the keynote speaker at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Viator High School for an evening that also will feature a panel of innovators and entrepreneurs. Willer, who left Google last month to become the new president and CEO of the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, is the second speaker in a series, and will address “Awakening the Innovator in Our Young Men and Women.” Panelists for the free presentation at 1213 E. Oakton St. in Arlington Heights include Genevieve Thiers, founder of Sittercity, the country’s largest online site for matching parents with sitters and nannies; John Roberson, executive vice president of the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center; Jim Banaszak, chief technology officer for OpenCEL; and Jim Fruchterman, founder and CEO of Benetech.
