Mundelein d. North Chicago: Jamie Jahan and Corey Flores each slammed 4 kills, and Cesar Gomez served 4 aces, as the Mustangs defeated North Chicago 25-9, 25-7 in North Suburban Conference action.

Jahen also recorded 2 blocks, while Joey Timmerman set 32 of 32 with 11 assists.

Mundelein (10-8, 2-3) also received 12 digs from David Collins and 3 kills apiece from Gomez and Parker Tortorello.

Carmel d. Nazareth: Mike Fitzgibbons pounded 9 kills, and Alex Dunlap served 14 of 16 with 4 aces, as the Corsairs won the East Suburban Catholic Conference match 25-7, 25-16.

Carmel (13-10, 3-0) also got 4 kills from Frankie Cohen and three from Jack Butler. Will Collazo posted 3 solo blocks, and Graham Misak delivered 2 aces (8-of-8 serving). Dunlap dished out 21 assists, too.
