Schaumburg Township seeks new trustee
Schaumburg Township is seeking applicants to fill the term of the late Trustee Richard Taccini.
Resumes will be accepted by Township Supervisor Mary Wroblewski through April 28. As required by state statute, applicants must be current residents of the township and have resided there for at least one year. Applicants must also be a qualified voter of the Republican Party.
Sealed envelopes, along with a current resume, marked “Trustee Vacancy” should be mailed to Schaumburg Township, One Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates IL 60169, attention Mary Wroblewski, Supervisor.
Taccini, 70, died early this month, nine days after suffering cardiac arrest while exercising at a Schaumburg health club. He had served on the township board since 2004.
