Cary Park District looking for teen bands

Get your band together for Band Bash, a musical showcase hosted by the Cary Park District.

Four teen bands will have the opportunity to play a 30-minute set and showcase their talents in front of an audience.

The Band Bash will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, April 29, at the Community Center, 255 Briargate Road in Cary.

The public is welcome to watch and support their favorite band that evening.

Admission is $5 for residents and $8 for nonresidents. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Interested bands should complete a Band Bash entry form and return it to the Community Center, 255 Briargate Road.

Entry forms are available online at www.carypark.com or at the Community Center. Priority will be given to bands within the Cary Park District boundaries.
