Schaumburg native plant sale May 1
The Schaumburg Community Garden Club will hold its annual Native Plant Sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, during the Backyards for Nature Fair at Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg. Pre-ordering information can be found at the website schaumburggardenclub.com. Shuttle bus service will be available May 1 if the Nature Center parking lot is full. Overflow parking is at Olympic Park, approximately half a mile east off Schaumburg Road. For more information about the Backyards for Nature Fair itself, contact Spring Valley at (847) 985-2100.
