Visit Garden of Diversity in Schaumburg Saturday

Schaumburg-area residents will have a great opportunity Saturday to learn more about the different cultures that exist all around them.

The Schaumburg Park District and Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54's language and culture department will hold their annual Garden of Diversity event from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April, 9 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg.

The activities at the event include local international food vendors, crafts, live performances and a Scholastic book fair.

“Schaumburg area residents will learn about unique cultures and taste new foods,” said Schaumburg Park District Special Events Supervisor George Grey. “Kids also will have fun with interactive activities.”

Admission to the event is free, and food will be available for purchase.
