COD hosts Illinois State Geography Bee

Annie Ulrich, a homeschooled eighth grade student from Grayslake, listens to her question at the 2011 Illinois State Geography Bee, sponsored by the National Geographic Society. The event, attended by dozens of students from school districts throughout the state, was held April 1 on the College of DuPage Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. Ulrich ultimately won the competition, earning a trip to Washington D.
