The Schaumburg Park District will offer fitness fanatics the chance to try out Piloxing for free from 10-11 a.m. Friday, March 18, at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

“The Piloxing method encourages participants to go barefoot to strengthen ankles, and wear half-pound gloves to aid in controlled movement,” explained park district instructor Colette Madsen.

Piloxing mixes Pilates and boxing moves into a fat-torching, muscle-sculpting, core-centric interval workout, guaranteed to whip participants into shape. Piloxing blends the power, speed and agility of boxing with the beautiful sculpting and flexibility of Pilates.

All ages are welcome to this free class. Call (847) 490-7015 or visit parkfun.com for more information.
