Evening of Irving Berling at Metropolis March 15

Kevin Moore presents "Score-by-Score An Evening of Irving Berling" at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15 at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, 111 W. Campbell St. in Arlington Heights.

Irving Berlin has composed music for dozens of Broadway shows and feature films, had 25 chart-topping hits, and was nominated for eight Academy Awards. But mostly, he understood the American people and wrote music that they could enjoy.

Now, take a step behind the scenes with emcee Kevin Moore of WJJG radio to see what inspired this great American composer while hearing his unforgettable tunes performed by elite Chicago cabaret artists.

The evening will be filled with hits from "Annie Get Your Gun," "Puttin' On the Ritz," "White Christmas," and many more.
