Sign up for Lilac Time craft fair by March 2

The annual Lilac Time Art & Craft Fair planning has been under way for several months now. Committee members have been meeting to jury the applications received thus far, but there's still time.

While a good number of applications have already been received, space is still available for additional crafters.

There are a limited number of spots for crafters offering jewelry and those applications are due by Wednesday, March 2, after which a lottery will be held for the number of allocated spots.

The early bird deadline for all other crafters is Monday, March 14. After March 15, a $25 late fee will be charged to the application fee, which is $75.

Food vendors are also needed to complement the crafters. The deadline for food vendors is Thursday, March 31.

Proceeds from all the craft booths are donated to local civic organizations serving Lombard. Currently, beneficiary applications are being accepted until April 15 and may be found on the Lombard Chamber website, www.lombardchamber.com or by calling the Chamber office at (630) 627-5040.

Sponsorships are also available for businesses who wish to contribute to the event.
