U-46 to showcase its best performers

The Hemmens Cultural Center, 45 Symphony Way in Elgin, will hold the first U-46 TalentFest at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15.

This talent competition will feature performers from all five Elgin Area School District U-46 high schools. Each school will send two of their most gifted performers, chosen from talent shows held at the schools this winter.

The competition will be fierce as each group competes for cash prizes and a traveling trophy to be displayed at the winner’s school.

Tickets are $5 for general admission and can be purchased at the box office, online at hemmens.org or by phone at (847) 931-5900.

Come out and support your favorite high school and help choose the top three winners by voting alongside our celebrity judges. Every vote counts, so be sure to get your tickets early!

TalentFest is open to any high school student in the U-46 district.

For details on the qualifying competitions, contact your school administrator. The five U-46 high schools are: Bartlett High School, Elgin High School, Larkin High School, South Elgin High School and Streamwood High School.
