'Metropolis Sings Broadway' benefit set for Feb. 21

Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, 111 W. Campbell St. in Arlington Heights, presents "Metropolis Sings Broadway" from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21.

Broadway stars Nate Johnson ("Mamma Mia!"), Melissa Minyard ("Les Miserables") and cabaret star Lisa Rock ("Close to You: The Music of The Carpenters") are accompanied by a live orchestra and a host of Chicago performers to sing the Tony Award-winning "Into the Woods."

Don't miss this fantastic performance of a Broadway classic, in the intimate Metropolis theatre with the some of the greatest voices in the region.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit Metropolis' Outreach program Breaking Borders, a cultural and artistic exchange between a suburban and inner city school.
