Raue Center for the Arts will host its second annual Hold ’Em Tournament Saturday, Jan. 29, on stage at 26 N. Williams St. in downtown Crystal Lake. The event helps raise money for the organization and allow them to continue to provide quality programming that supports the arts, builds community and continually “Rocks the Raue.” Last year, the event raised more than $8,000 and this year Raue Center is hoping to raise $10,000 or more, of which 83 cents of each dollar raised will go directly back into programming.

The tournament begins at 6:30 p.m. and buy-in is $100. Players that are knocked out in the first hour can re-buy-in for $50 and receive half the chips. Participants will be playing toward a grand prize of $250 cash, Hold ’Em T-shirt, one entry into Raue Center’s 2012 tournament; Apple iPad with leather case; Las Vegas vacation package for two.
