District 54 kindergarten registration
Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54 will hold its kindergarten registration for the 2011-12 school year on Thursday, Feb. 24 at all elementary schools.
Registration will take place from 9 to 11 a.m., 1 to 2:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. that day. Parents should go to their neighborhood school to register, even if applying to attend a school other than their neighborhood school.
Only those children whose 5th birthday falls on or before Sept. 1, 2011 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten. Parents should bring the child’s official birth certificate with the seal, a $50 check or money order and three forms proving residency.
