St. Edward takes 5th at Lisle

Rena Ranallo scored 15 points, while Maddie Kerr and all-tournament selection Enza Ranallo added 11 each Thursday night to lead St. Edward’s girls basketball team to a 42-28 win over Chicago Christian in the fifth place game of the Lisle Holiday Cage Classic.

The Green Wave (12-3) led 33-12 at halftime and never looked back.

“We played well,” said St. Edward coach Michelle Dawson. “It was a good tournament for us. We lost one game too early but we played well.”
