Your news: Conant Student Council sponsors successful Toys for Tots drive

The vision for Toys for Tots 2010, was deliver unfortunate children with great holiday gifts. The drive was a success, with more than 800 toys collected and valued at over $10,000.

The Conant High School student body, faculty and community members made this Toys for Tots drive a special one. Led by the school's Student Council, clubs and departments competed against each other for the highest number of toys. The spirit of the drive carried over to the Hoffman Estates vs. Conant basketball game on Dec. 9, where admission was free with a donation of a toy. During half-time, Student Council raffled off many prizes to people who brought in toys. The game ended with a Cougar victory and a successful toy drive.

Together, Conant High School students and the community were able to make this holiday season a special one for less fortunate children.
