St. Edward rolls in Lisle opener

St. Edward 72, Reed-Custer 29: The Green Wave (10-2) came out of the gates fast and never looked back as they picked up a decisive victory over Reed-Custer at the Lisle Holiday Classic. Callie Johnson (14 points), Rena Ranallo (13 points), Enza Ranallo (13 points), and Katherine Von Ahnen (10 points) all recorded double-digits to lead the Green Wave while Maddie Kerr chipped in 9 points.

Clemente 35, Westminster Christian 24: The Warriors could not get the offense rolling as they were defeated in their first game of the day at the Providence St. Mel Holiday Tournament by Clemente. Katie Moeller led the way for the Warriors with 7 points and McKaila Hays added 4 points. Emily Bickford grabbed 5 rebounds.

St. Francis de Sales 35, Westminster Christian 27: In their second game of the day at the Providence St. Mel Holiday Tournament, the Warriors (5-4) lost another close one as they fell to St. Francis de Sales. Emily Bickford and McKaila Hays paced the Warriors with 7 and 6 points, respectively, while Katie Surratt pulled down 6 rebounds.
