Schaumburg holiday decorating contest
The Schaumburg Park District is again looking for the best and brightest home in town this season in its annual Holiday House Decorating Contest. Entry forms are available online at parkfun.com and at the Community Recreation Center, at 505 N. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg. Forms are due back at the recreation center by 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2.
There is no entry fee. Houses must be decorated before Monday, Dec. 6, when judging will occur. The first 15 houses will be judged on originality, theme, arrangement and overall appearance. Houses must be within Schaumburg Park District boundaries. Winning entrants will be listed on the park district cable channel and website.
