West Chicago still undefeated

West Chicago 43, Downers Grove South 30: Mary Connolly scored 15 points and Claire Monroe 12, as the Wildcats (5-0) capped off an unbeaten run at the Lyons Township Tournament. Allie Tapanes added 11 points for West Chicago. Tori Franklin had 8 points for Downers Grove South.

Waubonsie Valley 53, West Aurora 30: The Warriors outscored West Aurora 23-4 in a decisive third quarter at the WarHawk Tournament in Aurora. Tami Morice scored 16 points and Becky Williford 12 for No. 9 Waubonsie (6-0), which plays at No. 2 Bartlett Tuesday.

Metea Valley 57, Joliet 40: Bria Walker scored 15 points and Lori Obendorf 13 for the Mustangs (1-5), who picked up their school's first varsity win at the Naperville Central/Benet Tip-Off Tournament.

Trinity 49, Naperville Central 31: Emma Ondik scored 16 points for the No. 13 Redhawks (3-3) at the Naperville Central/Benet Tip-Off Tournament. Megan Podkowa had 15 for Trinity.

Westmont 35, Immaculate Conception 24: Kaleigh Dempsey paced the Knights (6-3) with 12 points at the Immaculate Conception Tournament.
