St. Edward 3rd at Dakota: The Green Wave (2-1) suffered a tough 66-59 overtime loss to River Ridge before bouncing back to defeat Dakota 43-39 to earn third place at the Dakota Turkey Tournament. Against River Ridge Maddie Kerr (13 points), Callie Johnson (12 points), Vincenza Ranallo (12 points), and Rena Ranallo (11 points) all recorded double-digits for the Green Wave, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory. In the third-place game play went back and forth before the Green Wave, carrying a 2 point lead into the fourth quarter, came out victorious. Kerr paced St. Edward for the second consecutive game with a team-high of 13 points while Rena Ranallo added 8 points.
Huntley 57, Minooka 37: The Red Raiders (3-1) faced a 16-11 deficit after one quarter of play, but mounted a comeback, holding Minooka to single digits in the final three quarters to pick up a victory at the WarHawk Tournament. Kadie Lowery paced the Red Raiders with 18 points while chipping 3 steals. Carly Goede also added double-digits with 14 points to go along with 5 assists and Brie Roeser recorded 9 points.
