Last year: 10-20, 5-7 in the West Suburban Gold; lost to Glenbard East 44-16 in Class 4A Glenbard East regional quarterfinal.

Top players: Ellen Wright, sr., G; Jenna Dalton, sr., F; Angela Bruno, so., G; Cheris Porter, jr., F; Anita Sterling, so., F.

Scouting report: Second-year Warriors coach Harrell has a young team on his hands. But he expects them to compete in the Gold. Wright and 6-foot-1 post Dalton return and will set the tone for the younger kids. Harrell expects to see a slew of good guards at the Willowbrook Tournament to tip things off. It doesn’t get any easier in the Gold with the likes of Illinois recruit Ivory Crawford of Proviso East and Jazmin Little of Addison Trail. “We have some young talent,” Harrell said, “but they will have to grow up fast.”
