Last year: 17-10, 12-2, tied for first in the DuPage Valley Conference; lost to Glenbard West 60-54 in Class 4A Fenwick regional semifinal.

Top players: Fantasia Vine, sr., G; AK Feltes, sr., F; Lauren Graham, sr., F; Sydney Sharkey, jr., G; Maddie Baillie, jr., G; Mandy Traversa, so., G/F; Karli Togami, sr., G.

Scouting report: It took the Falcons about a month to become one of the area's best teams last year. This season they hit the ground running. All five starters return for the DVC co-champs, a talented roster further bolstered by the addition of Wheaton Academy transfer Sharkey. Vine, recently committed to Bradley, emerged as one of the area's best and most exciting guards as a junior. Eaton hopes to have Feltes ready by the first game. She is recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery and returns as one of the area's best rebounders. Ballie has made great strides, particularly in her passing ability. Sharkey is an outstanding shooter and defender. Graham provides a strong post presence and rangy 6-footer Traversa showed flashes of potential off the bench as a freshman. "With this team I have to tell them not to be too unselfish," Eaton said. "They enjoy each other's successes."
