Frosted Brownies

2 cups sugar

cup cocoa powder

1 cup margarine or butter, melted

4 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1½ cups flour

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup walnuts, chopped, optional

Frosting

2 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons cocoa powder

1½ cups powdered sugar, sifted

2-3 tablespoons milk

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 15- by 10-inch jelly roll pan.

In large mixing bow whisk together sugar and cocoa; whisk in butter. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour and salt. Pour into pan and bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs clinging to it.

For the frosting: Beat together butter, cocoa and powdered sugar. Gradually add milk a little at a time until frosting is proper consistency. Frost while brownies are warm.

Cut into 2-by-2frac12;-inch squares.

Serves 35.
