District 33 plans town hall meeting

The West Chicago Elementary District 33 school board will hold the second of two town hall meetings Wednesday, Oct. 20, to discuss a referendum proposal to expand West Chicago Middle School.

The session, which begins at 7 p.m. in the school library, 238 E. Hazel St., will include a slide show explaining why the district is seeking roughly $39 million for the project.

Members of the school board and a steering committee will be on hand to answer questions.
