Alumni invited to EHS's homecoming

Elgin High School alumnae are invited to bring family and friends to watch the 2010 Elgin High School Disney-themed homecoming parade Sunday, Oct. 3.

The parade will begin at 1 p.m. and travel throughout downtown Elgin, beginning and ending at Festival Park.

After the parade, the student council has arranged for activities to take place in Festival Park. All adults are invited to join fellow alumni, faculty, family and friends at The Hangout, 51 S. Grove Ave.

There will also be an Alumni Tent at Memorial Field for the 2010 Elgin High School homecoming football game Friday, Oct. 8, for alumni to visit and socialize starting at 5 p.m. during the sophomore game.

The 2010 homecoming king and queen will be crowned between games. The varsity football game starts at 7:30 p.m. After the game, alumni, faculty, family and friends are invited to join the celebration at the Elgin Public House in downtown Elgin.
