Glenbard South shuts out Ridgewood

Glenbard South beat Ridgewood 3-0 to improve to 11-1-1 on the season and 7-1 in the Metro Sun Conference.

Isaac Aguirre scored on a penalty kick, and also delivered a corner kick converted for a goal by Troy Good. Michael Pyle added a goal off a Jon Miller assist.

"Jeff Gensler played a phenomenal game this evening and so did David Pyle," reported Raiders coach Melissa Pero.

Lisle 3, Coal City 0: On senior night at Benedictine University, host Lisle (10-8-1, 7-2) got a Grant Fitzgerald hat trick and needed only 2 saves by Kazim Kahn to win the Interstate Eight Conference contest.

Montini 3, Chicago Christian 1: Alex Carpanzano also recorded the hat trick, with Dan Burke and Ryan Crackle assisting, in the Broncos' (4-7, 4-4) Suburban Christian Conference win.

Wheaton Academy 7, Guerin 0: Josh Urban scored twice and Casey Zimmerman, Stephen Fernandes, Frank Della Torre and Doug Coons each scored a goal in the Suburban Christian Conference romp. Jess Carmody and Spencer Graf split time in net for the Warriors.
