Stoehr, Lake Forest win Lake County Invite

Rachel Stoehr won two individual races and swam on the victorious 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays, leading Lake Forest to the championship of the Lake County meet Saturday.

Lake Forest splashed its way to 314 points, well ahead of runner-up Barrington (274) and third-place Stevenson (213).

Stoehr won the 200 free relay and 500 free, while teammate Mika Hlavin touched first in the 100 free. Hlavin also swam on the winning sprint relays.

Barrington opened by winning the 200 medley relay with Jacqueline Holdsberg, Mckenna Scheitlin, Justine Kaszynski and Erika Elliott. Each also won an individual race as well.

Elliott was first in the 50 free, Kaszynski took the 100 butterfly, Holdsberg claimed the 100 backstroke and Scheitlin swam to a winning time in the 100 breaststroke.

Libertyville's Morgan Dickson won the 200 individual medley.
