Ceremony, concert for fallen soldiers today

At 6:30 p.m. today, a 20-minute program honoring America's Fallen Heroes from the two Iraqi wars will be held at Schaumburg's Town Square at the southwest corner of Schaumburg and Roselle roads.

A 90-minute concert will immediately follow the ceremony, featuring the Jay Witcher Orchestra and vocalist Liz Goss performing big band music from the 1940s and '50s. The event is sponsored by Arthur LeVin, co-owner of Jewels by Park Lane in Schaumburg, in support of The United States Fallen Heroes Foundation.
