Tax-appeal seminar in Schaumburg Twp. June 16

Schaumburg Township Assessor John Lawson will co-sponsor a seminar on how Schaumburg Township residents can appeal their property taxes at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at Conant High School, 700 E. Cougar Trail in Hoffman Estates.

The deadline to file an appeal is June 21 for property owners in the township. Attendees are asked to bring their property tax bill in order to more effectively file an appeal. Other co-sponsors of the seminar are county Commissioner Tim Schneider, state Sen. John Millner and county Board of Review Commissioner Brendan Houlihan.
