Baird, Ellis help Wauconda sink Round Lake
Emily Baird buried a pair.
Her 2 goals and 1 assist and Tammy Ellis' pair of scores lifted Wauconda's soccer team to a 4-0 shutout of visiting Round Lake on Tuesday.
Melanie Prudhomme and Hannah Voyta also had assists for Wauconda (7-7, 3-1 North Suburban Prairie), while Cara Leoni earned the shutout.
Woodstock 2, Grayslake N. 1: Lainey Pasternak scored the Knights' lone goal with Jaclyn Brennan earning the assist.
Grayslake Central 2, Woodstock North 0: The Rams won their sixth in a row, as Brittani Risinger had a goal and an assist.
Alex Wilson added her sixth goal on the season, and Kelly Jay also picked up an assist.
Grayslake Central (9-6, 5-3 Fox Valley) notched its seventh shutout, with Kat Dickson recording 1 save in goal.
