Arlington Heights bull; Burglars stole a 20-inch, 15-gear men's black and turquoise bicycle valued at $200 out of an open garage on the 400 block of South Belmont on an unknown date but reported April 18. bull; Vandals broke a retaining wall cap and trampled six boxwood bushes at Memorial Park, 310 W. Fremont, between 3 p.m. April 16 and 9 a.m. April 19. Damage was estimated at $300; labor to repair the damage was estimated at $500.bull; Vandals wrote sexual graffiti on the upper ramp wall on the top floor of the public parking garage at 22 S. Vail Ave. April 19.bull; Thieves stole a large yellowish gold tinted ceramic flower pot in a front yard at a home on the 4000 block of Newport Lane between 5 p.m. April 19 and 1:30 a.m. April 20.Bartlett bull; William Baltes, 22, of the 200 block of South Park Boulevard, Streamwood, was arrested around 8:10 p.m. April 16 on the 900 block of Grant Street and charged with illegal transportation of alcohol and driving under the influence. Cruz, 36, of the 1900 block of West Algonquin Road, Mount Prospect, was arrested around 9:25 a.m. April 19 in a business lot at 1378 E. Miner St. and charged with possession of a fictitious ID card and a fraudulent ID card. The report said an officer found a social security card and permanent resident card in his wallet that did not belong to him. His court date is May 4.bull; Michael R. Mocydlarz, 21, of the 100 block of East Northwest Highway, Des Plaines, was arrested around 12:20 a.m. April 21 at Miner Street Tavern, 1492 E. Miner St. and charged with disorderly conduct and theft. The report said he gave a bartender a credit card that did not belong to him and the card was declined when the bartender swiped it to pay for Mocydlarz's $72 bar tab. Reports said he ran from the bar and officers found him urinating on a wall nearby. His court date is May 7.bull; Salvatore W. Palaggi, 32, of the 0-100 block of North Tower Road, Oak Brook, was arrested around 10 p.m. April 12 on the 100 block of North River Road and charged with possession of stolen property after a traffic stop. The report said an officer saw several tools in Palaggi's truck and a notebook with tools listed from several Home Depot stores. At least some of the tools were reported stolen. Basheer, 18, of the 4100 block of North Mozart Street, Chicago, was arrested around 9:35 p.m. April 18 on the 100 block of South River Road and charged with possession of marijuana after the car he was riding in was stopped for a traffic violation. A security guard found the wallet in a men's washroom garbage can wrapped in toilet paper but missing were her driver's license, state ID, university ID, CTA pass and four credit cards. Kensington Road, and charged with village ordinance possession of marijuana. The report said an officer found the drug in a film canister inside his car.
