Schaumburg Township seeking volunteers

Schaumburg Township Senior and Disability Services Department is seeking SHIP (Senior Health Insurance Program) volunteer counselors to educate people about Medicare, Medicaid, Part D and other available insurance options.

If you have time for a challenging but fulfilling long-term volunteer position, please submit resumes to gbartnicke@schaumburgtownship.org. Each potential volunteer counselor must be willing to attend a five day training program, successfully complete the self-study survey and return it to the trainer in the required time frame.

Schaumburg Township is hosting SHIP training on June 22, 23, 24, 29 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The township is located at One Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates.
