Fremd remains unbeaten

Fremd 17, Naperville North 6: Senior standout Erika Lauraitis scored 10 goals as the visiting Vikings rolled to a nonconference victory and maintained their unbeaten season at 12-0. Julie Conrath made 15 saves for Fremd.

Barrington 9, Highland Park 2: Yessica Buenrostro scored 6 goals to power the host Fillies (4-4) past the Giants in opening-round play of the Lake County Invitational. Brooke Fanslow made 7 saves in goal for Barrington.

Hersey 9, Conant 7: Christine Rovani's 6 goals were too much for host Conant as the Huskies (11-4) scored 4 times in the fourth quarter to pick up a Mid-Suburban crossover victory. Hannah Duke paced Conant (9-7) with 5 goals.

Buffalo Grove 15, Hoffman Estates 8: Kate Emerson scored in each quarter and finished with a match-high 6 goals to help visiting BG come away with an MSL crossover victory. Nicky Delaney had 3 goals and Angela Rodriguez 2 for the Bison (6-5).

Rachel Gallo finished with 5 goals, including 3 in the third quarter, for Hoffman Estates (3-8).
