Connolly pitches West Chicago past Geneva

West Chicago 3, Geneva 1: Mary Connolly (4-3) struck out 17 and the Wildcats scored 2 runs in the top of the eighth for the non-conference win. Kaity Olson tripled in the go-ahead run and scored on a Connolly single for West Chicago (5-5).

Lisle 9, Immaculate Conception 5: Katie Harris went 2-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI for the Lions (2-2), who erased a 4-3 deficit with a 6-run sixth in Lisle. Bekka Houda (1-2) struck out 12 to notch the win. Nina Vlahiotis went 3-for-4 with a homer for Immaculate Conception (1-4).

Naperville Central 3, Hinsdale South 0: Alyssa Wunderlich (2-1) struck out 9 batters in a 2-hitter for the Redhawks.

WW South 5, Downers Grove North 2: Jess Wasser went 3-for-3 and scored 3 runs and Bekah Munday went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and a run scored for the host Tigers (5-4). Hannah Granger added 2 hits and an RBI.
